History

Cedar Manufacturing Solutions is a family-owned business that has been in the die cutting, assembly, contract manufacturing and spray coatings business since 1988. Early on we found that we could excel in providing production solutions that others in our field could not. We feel this is due to our engineering background and hands-on management style. Our philosophy is apparent in our company motto…“We specialize in finding production solutions that others can't!”

We started small but have made major facility expansions over the years. In 1999, we added 3,000 square feet of production space and moved our offices to our current location, keeping our old buildings as cold storage. In 2000, we added an additional 3,200 square feet of production space and are currently preparing to add an additional 4,000 square feet in 2003.

Our company prides itself on its longstanding relationships with our customers. We embrace time honored techniques while keeping up with cutting edge technology. We have well established working relationships with companies like 3M, Tecnifoam, Medtronic and Kreuger International.

Production and Quality

Our team at Cedar Manufacturing Solutions will work together to solve your manufacturing issues. We have cost effective production runs from 10 parts to 18,000,000 parts.

Quality control starts from the beginning of your run, with the inspection of all materials used in the production of your product. Our die cutting tolerances of +/- .005 inches will ensure that your product is consistent. CMS employees always inspect parts as they are being run and follow up production with yet another random inspection and securely package parts for shipping.

By computerizing our records and production standards, we have found that this helps save time all around: from looking back on old shipments, to figuring out cost savings for our customers.

We have taken this one step further with our spray applications. Our operators enter many different variables when running a production run and use this logged data to centerline all of our painting operations. With this data, we reduce waste and startup problems.
